Heat should not cause Soylent to spoil, however, if temperatures go above 110 degrees the vitamins & nutrients may begin to break down over time.
The "Best By" date listed on your Soylent is not an expiration date but rather the date where we have data for best taste and texture quality. Consuming our product after the “Best By” date should not pose a food safety concern.
Why soy?

Is the packaging recyclable?
Some materials are not yet fully recyclable and can be thrown away, including:

I cannot say enough great things about Soylent. I even converted my spouse. Between the nutritional value and the taste, it truly is the perfect meal replacement shake. It has a rich chocolate flavour without that fake chalky or metallic taste you get with others. It is not overly sweet, which is something I always hated about some of the competitors. It is pricey, but in my opinion it is worth it to have the quality. I hate eating in the mornings, so I drink this. It keeps me full for hours and I feel good knowing I’m getting a quick, balanced, plant based meal.

This flavor and the chocolate mint are my favorites. It's very thick and creamy and rich. Normally I mix it with water to make it thinner which also helps with me drinking more fluids during the day. Watered down it tastes a lot like a melted fudgsicle. I feel like I'm having dessert with less guilt.
